"Jellyfish Eyes TRADING CARD GAME - Friend Battle α" is based on the world of Takashi Murakami's film of the same name.
Children with mysterious creatures called "Friends," and the four conspirators who seek to dominate the world with new energy. We've created an unprecedented battle concept where "negative energy," a crucial key in the story, is also used in the rules, allowing a player on the brink of defeat to make a game-changing move. The rules are not difficult to understand, but it's a new game where "damaging an opponent is not necessarily advantageous," meaning "you can't win with conventional game concepts."
The "Friends" have various appearances and expressions—cute, funny, a little scary—and are all original characters by Takashi Murakami. The artwork for each card was created by Takashi Murakami and the Kaikai Kiki art team, bringing together all their efforts.
